Welcome to Behind the Known!

The year is 2100. In the new era the government has collapsed in what used to be North America. A violent leader that calls himself the Ruler has taken charge and forced the population into submission. People live in very large city clusters. The clusters consist of; A Town meeting place where all of the city's adults gather to receive information from the Ruler, a Government Office where the people collect their stamp(a stamp that declares how much food and supplies they get for the month, the rations are determined by your level), a Market where people turn in their stamp and the workers bring out everything that the people get for their rations, and housing which is also assigned according to your level within the government.
In this role play you will play as one of the following species; Vampire, Werewolf, Shape-Shifter, Elementalist, Fairie, Deamon, Angel, Whitch/Warlock, Elf, or a human with the sight. Some of these beings are part of a secret society that is set up to destroy nightmares and try to find a way to shut down the Hole. Some of them don't even know what is happening or that there is others like them out there and they just go on living their normal lives going to school or work. Then there are the few that decided they like what the world would turn into if the nightmare's took over and they are fighting on the side of the nightmares, these are the beings that are recruited by the Ruler. No one knows the Ruler's true form every one believes he is just a sadistic human but they are soon to find out that all is not as it seems.

Sides,

So here is a little run down of the sides you can choose.

The Adiutores:

These people are the people that side with the Ruler. They don't necessarily work for him, but they do think what he is doing is the way the world should run. This also means that they fight to protect the hole between this realm and the dark realm, because they want the nightmares to be able to reach our realm when ever they need to.

The Defensores:

These are the people that are fighting to protect the humans from the nightmares and the Ruler. They are providing help where ever it is needed and they patrol the forest frequently searching for escaped nightmares. Often they will run into the Adiutores out there protecting the nightmares, and when that happens a fight is almost inevitable.

The Incertos:

These are the people that have no idea what is happening. If they are a human with out the sight then they probably don't even know the non human's exist. If they are a human with the sight or another creature then they might think they are the only one, or they just don't know that the Ruler is secretly planning the apocalypse. Or they could know what is happening, but they just don't care.

**Note that in all of these groups there are families, not just singular people.
