Chipper is the best way to describe Delilah, or as she likes to be called, Dj. When a person first meets her they would be overwhelmed by her happy go lucky ways. She believes that if you don't let something be a big deal, then it will never surface as a big problem. Beneath Dj's happy outer shell she has a darker, side. She can only sugar coat so much before she starts to feel slightly bitter about it. A psychologist might suggest this is due to Dj's internalizing nature. She takes all the bad things and just stuffs them down until one day there is just too much bad and she explodes with emotion.

Delilah is very passionate about what she believes in. She has few passions, but the ones she does have are her reason for living. She believes she doesn't need a man to make her happy or spike her interest simply because she has other things to fight for. 

Despite Dj's usual happy demeanor, she has a temper like a bomb. It take just the right thing to set her off and she can spin into a blind rage. Usually during these times it is best to just leave her alone as Damon is fueling these rages, whispering words of encouragement into her mind. Dj's rages are very few and far between, but when they do happen she will be in a bad mood for hours, or sometimes even days.

Guiding Daemon:

Damon: Damon is Delilah's dark conscience. He sides with the nightmares and the destruction even though Dj ocationaly fights against them. The two are very nearly polar opposites, and yet they are stuck together. Damon influences every move and decision Dj makes. Although he does not outright control her, he does have a very convincing way to do things. Despite their being polar opposites Delilah and Damon are good for eachother. They balance out the good and bad in the other.

HISTORY

Delilah was born in Hawaii sixty-eight years ago, before the reign of the Ruler and the fall of the government. She was put up for adoption when she was three weeks old because her mother was a fifteen year old girl that couldn't handle a baby though she thought she could. Dj was then adopted by an older couple from California. She lived the first fourteen years of her life believing that they were her real parents, but the night before her fifteenth birthday her birth mother called her, warning her that things were about to start happening to her, things that Dj couldn't control. She tried to get more information from her mother, but she hung up the phone leaving it at that. Lahni's parents told her they didn't know what to tell her other than the truth. They explained to her that she was adopted, but they didn't have any answers to her mothers ominous message. A week later Lahni made her first shift.

As Delilah grew she learned to control her shifts, but at first they controled her. Everytime she had a sudden emotion change she would start to shift into Damon's form. He encouraged this, because he could take over easier if she was in his form. As the years went by Dj gathered information on her "species" she learned that for her control was everything. 

In searching for more information about her own species, Delilah uncovered information about other creatures out there. All the beings from the fairy tales and nightmares appeared to be true. 

At the age of twenty Delilah's parents died in a car accident, nothing supernatual, but it killed her on the inside. She disappeared inside of herself for weeks, letting Damon control their shared body. When she finally snapped out of her depressed daze and gained control of her body she found herself in the middle of a town that she did not know. She never went home, deciding that she needed a new begining. She roamed from place to place, a gypsy sole that never stayed in one place too long. She watched as the Ruler took over and a war started to form. Even though she knew what the Ruler was doing was bad, she had no motivation to side with the Defensores. She had no motivation to pick a side at all. Insead she sits back and watches, waiting for some kind of motivation to find her.
